In Blood Son, comparative religion professor Elizabeth Martin travels halfway around the globe to Prague to search for her missing brother. There, she encounters strange rumors of dark occurences in the mountains where he was last seen. She also meets up with a dhampir, Josef, who can help her find her brother--if his contempt and bitterness don't get in the way. Drawn to each other, they eventually find their passion ignited. Together they must defeat a lineage of vampires extending back a century, in order to free Elizabeth's brother and create a life for themselves.
